[Day 15] Fancy?
Food Diary-
Breakfast- Blueberry banana smoothie, 1 reheated pancake with peanut butter
Lunch- 2 tomato/mozzarella paninis, some peach slices (it wasn't a very good peach)
Dinner- Fake hotdog, grilled potato salad (At the time of my posting this, I have not actually eaten yet)
Video:
Notes: I also spent like an hour and a half shoveling dog poop in the back yard, if that counts for anything. I need to find alternatives to carbs.

[Day 13] New camera... FANCINESS!
Food Diary-
Breakfast- Banana and blueberry smoothie, half a bagel with peanut butter
Lunch- three pieces of spinach wrapped around feta cheese and pesto, then some roasted peanuts and almonds later on. (I know I sort of didn't eat lunch because I was playing with my new camera and watching LOST)
Dinner- 2 pieces of leftover french toast, 1 slice of Pablos Pizza at farmer's market
DailyBooth:
Video:
Notes: I was so hungry because I didn't eat a good lunch today. I should have just made a smoothie but my tummy was screaming "CARBS OH MY GOD CARBS PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE." and I gave in. But I did a good WiiFit workout and then walked around Farmer's Market in the sun for a while. And drank water.

Picture:
Notes: no exercise other than walking around. I had a lot of carbs today which I will counter with wii fit tomorrow.

[Day 9] I didn't realize how much weight John Green has lost
Anyways. I will start doing something again tomorrow. But I'm still watching what I eat.
Food Diary:
Breakfast- Ciniburst french toast
Lunchish- 1/4 of a quesadilla, some chips
Dinner- Bean burrito, one extra tortilla, some salsa
I think it says something that I'm still posting here. So I promise that I'll start again tomorrow

[Day 7-8] You should feel awfully lucky right now
Food diary-
Breakfast- Banana/blueberry smoothie
Lunch- PB&J at Great Harvest (with Anita!)
Pre-babysitting quick meal- Banana/blackberry smoothie
Post-babysitting quick meal/ midnight snack- bagel toast
Notes: Yesterday was my day of rest because I got really busy and didn't really have time to exercise anyways. Today I spent six hours chasing a 2 year old and a 7 year old around and spent just about as much time lifting up the 2 year old and carrying him. So that totally counts as exercise because oh my god I'm exhausted. My arms are actually kind of sore. Woo.

[Day 6] Oops

Breakfast- Almonds and an apple
Second breakfast- Raspberry and banana smoothie
Writing snack- small white chocolate mocha (from starbucks. Yuck.)
Dinnerish- 1 slice of Pablos pesto pizza
Second dinner- Blueberry and banana smoothie

MMMMMM
Exercise: Abs and arms today. I did a bunch of sit ups and stuff. Then I got on the Wii and did a couple games. I'm getting really good at the meditation balance game. I can actually sit still for three minutes! A record.
I think tomorrow might be my rest day, but who knows. See, we have company. More on that at my "real" blog.

[Day 4] It's so hot my sweat is sweating
Food diary:
Breakfast- powerbar, milk
Borders snack- medium iced latte (which I didn't finish) (The cute barista made it for me and he KNOWS MY NAME!)
Lunch- apple, roasted almonds and peanuts
Dinner- can of pinto beans, 1 slice of cheese
DailyBooth:
Video:
alakjsdfalkhdgfhaf I talk in this one. I don't just breath heavily.
Notes: I really like the WiiFit. Also, I need a new pair of yoga pants. Also, the video might not be necessary every day. I'll only post a video when I think it's needed, or interesting, or new. I can't just keep posting clips of WiiFit.

[Day 3] This won't be daily for very long
Food Diary:
Breakfast- Powerbar, glass of milk
Blogging snack- Small white chocolate mocha (This is a habit I must break)
Lunch- Roasted, unsalted peanuts and almonds, one apple
Dinner- 1 1/2 slices of leftover pesto pizza (small slices off the small pizza... so not a lot)
DailyBooth:
I think my DB pics look so strange because I have really poor posture, so my butt sticks out.
Video:
We were talking about iPhones and Megan switching from Verizon to AT&T, which I was bad mouthing. I dunno if I'm gonna do daily videos, because they're kind of a pain and also sort of useless.
Notes: I'm not going to be able to walk tomorrow. But I feel good. Hopefully I'll sleep.
Sunday, July 18, 2010
[Day 2] Getting the hang
Food Diary:
Breakfast- powerbar, glass of milk
Lunch- Smartdog (it's a fake hotdog), potato salad, strawberries
Dinner- Blueberry pancakes
DailyBooth:
Video:
Notes: Anyone who says the Wii Fit can't work you out is a LIAR. I was pretty sore in my hips this morning when I did my exercises, and hopefully I can keep this up. Tomorrow the video will probably be a bit more exciting, because I'll be biking and swimming with a friend. Cross your fingers that I don't kill myself.
[Day One] Well. This is awkward.
I hope you read the introduction to this new project, to explain why for the next month there will be two numbered posts a day. If not, it should be right under this post. READ IT NOW.
Food Diary:
Breakfast- Powerbar, glass of milk
Lunch- Grilled peach and chicken kebab salad thing
Snack- Orange popsicle
Dinner- Pablos Pizza (Punk's Pesto!)
DailyBooth:
Starting Weight: 145 lbs
Video: No video today. I was gonna bring my phone on a bike ride but me and Megan decided we weren't gonna go. And I did about an hour on the WiiFit before I came up with this stupid idea, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
Other thoughts: As this is Day 1, there really isn't a lot to say. I like being on the Wii, even though some of the yoga poses are near impossible. I think my goal will be to have the ability to do the triangle pose at some point.

Introduction to Bri's Own Health
I’m starting a new yearlong project, which I’m calling “Losing It”. (Creative, eh?) If you haven’t already guessed, it’s going to be a weight loss project. And I know the only way I’m going to get anything done by way of my body weight is to tell the internet about my progress. Here’s how it’s gonna work:
1. I will take a DailyBooth picture every single day of me from the side.
2. I will make a short iPhone vlog every other day chronicling my exercising. I have to do SOMETHING every single day (even pushups or some crunches count), and the iPhone vlog will just be my proof to you.
3. Every Sunday afternoon, I will post my weight. With the exception of Day 1, of course. Because I’ll be posting my weight today.
4. I will also chronicle, on the blog version of Losing It (where I will also link the DB pic and vlog), what I have eaten on that given day.
A couple concessions to clear up questions:
Sometimes, I will not have an internet connection. Like August 21st-26th ish. And possibly other times because I’ll be in college and doin stuff. So right off the bat, I want to make it clear that this project will not be NEARLY as consistent as the Bri 2.0 project.
That said, if I end up not having an internet connection, I’ll probably still have my phone, or my camera**, so I can continue filming myself doing things and then edit them together when I’m back with my internet.
I am allowed ONE DAY of complete and total rest once every two weeks, unless I am sick, in which case I will maybe have more than one day of complete and total rest while I get better.
During the school year, I’ll no doubt be very busy with college stuff. I will do my best to upkeep this daily exercise blog, but if I miss a day or two, I’ll just catch up. None of this scheduling backwards nonsense.
The only reason I started today, July 17, 2010, a little more than a month before my first year-long project ends, is because otherwise I won’t do it. Also, I already exercised today and I didn’t want it to go to waste.
SO. Does this all make sense? Do you have other questions? LEMME KNOW! Day 1 will be posted later today.
**In unrelated but awesome news, I might be getting a camera with better video capabilities soon.
